York Dukes Boys Volleyball Set Record for Fundraising in the 3rd Annual VolleyBALD for a Cure

VB 2013.jpg

In the 3rd Annaul Volley-Bald for a Cure, the York Varsity Boys Volleyball team shattered their previous fundraising record by raising over $1,900 for the York-all-Youth Relay for Life, with all funds benefiting the American Cancer Society. Teammates, students, parents and the community raised over $1000 to have four players, Lino Guzman, Bobby Krissinger, Evan Wendell and Joe Duda shave their heads following their match against Benet.  It was a great testament to the character of these young men and their teammates who understand the importance of being involved in the community, while representing the program with class.
