After graduating from Glenbard West High School, I studied at Loyola University Chicago. Here I received a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Spanish Language/Literature and Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education. The highlight of my time at Loyola was my five month study-abroad trip to Madrid, Spain. During my time in Spain I attended La Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where I had the opportunity to take an Art History class at the world famous Museo del Prado. I lived with a Spanish family and gained a deep appreciation of Spanish language and culture. This is my second year at York and I look forward to helping students cultivate a love and excitement for both the Spanish language and other cultures around the world.
