York Community High School

Autism Awareness Club

Welcome to the Autism Awareness Club! The club is in its 6th year at York. The club began in the Fall of 2012 by a York student, Alex Waldherr (2013 York Graduate).

We create awareness of Autism through participating in educational workshops, volunteering with local organizations, and fundraising for groups such as Autism Speaks. We are looking for new members that have experience with individuals that have autism and those who want to learn more about the world of special education.
