College Algebra

This course examines functions, statistics, and trigonometry by using the tools of transformations, graphing and data analysis.  The following types of functions will be studied and used to model data:  linear, quadratic, power, exponential, logarithmic, trigonometric, circular, polynomial and rational; additional topics are probability, binomial and normal distributions, and sequences and series.  Extensive use will be made of Desmos for graphing and technical writing.  A TI-83/84 Plus graphing calculator is required.
