Dukes Decision Day

The College and Career Resource Center and the PTSA Academic Boosters once again hosted Duke Decision Day on Tuesday, May 1st, 2018. to celebrate Seniors' post-graduation plans - college, military, trade school, and entering the workforce.  386 seniors posted their decisions on a giant map in the CCRC.  Each participating senior received a Duke Decision Day pen to commemorate the annual event.  This year, the College & Career Resource Center received scholarship information from students totaling almost $2 million dollarsStudents and faculty were excited to see what the future holds for the class of 2018!

Duke Decision Day is an annual York event sponsored by the College & Career Resource Center and the PTSA Academic Boosters.  The event is held on the first Monday of May, to celebrate seniors' symbolic commitment to the college, military or post secondary plan of their choice.
Seniors are invited to w
ear their college and/or military spirit wear to school and place a marker on the giant map to share their post high school plans.   Faculty and staff also sport their alma mater spirit wear!  Class pens are given to participating seniors by the PTSA Academic Boosters, and individual scholarship information for freshman year is collected by the College & Career Resource Center.  All York students are invited to stop by and see what the future holds for the Class of 2016.
